What kind of materials do you use? What's brand name?
I use Prang watercolours, the kind that elementary kids use because I’m super cheap, whatever gel pens they happen to be selling in the store, Basics acylic paint and Folk Art acylic paint because once again I’m super cheap.

How long have you been for drawing? And how many hours do you draw everyday?
Ever since I could hold a pencil. Oh you mean seriously? Four years. Depends on what I’m doing. I like to draw all day at school but I take a break on the weekends.

Do you take any school of art?
No :C but my mother was an art teacher so I have private art lessons 24/7

How do you do your lineart? And how to keep it clean?
Lol lineart. I just draw it and... it never seems to smudge. I draw really light so there.

How do you put the color on the paper to make it look smooth?

Uh.... history, other artists, video games, movies. Trust me, I’m terrible at coming up with clothing designs.

How long it takes for you to draw one picture..?
Uh... depends. From about 2 weeks to a month because I’m slow.

Do you listen to anything while you draw, if so what kinds of things or music do you listen to and how does it affect your art?
Depends on the mood of the picture. Opera, soundtracks, jazz, folk, I’m a dork.

Do you have a preferred colour scheme? Or do you just use whichever one you feel like using at the time?
Uh... well I used too but not anymore. I do like red-browns and greens more.

Do you think its important to have a clean lineart? Or a sketchy line art can be artistic? Or perhaps in the end people will think it is sloppy?
I like clean lines and I think sketchy is just a mess. Everything has to be perfect.

Do you ever have artblock? If you have, how can you release from it?
By getting angry first, then I get over it.

Do you prefer traditional or digital colors? Or a mix of everything?
I prefer traditional but I’d like to do digital someday.

Do you scan your pictures in? What kind of scanner do you use? How much pdi do you scan your works?
Uh... which ever scanner they have at school. Sometimes I photograph them but that never turns out as nice. I do 300 dpi in general.


Do you trace your sketch to another paper for lineart for coloring/shading etc?
Nope. It goes on the paper its drawn on.

Nah. I might make on later.

Have you ever tired when you keep drawing same work?
No actually... I get a bit sad when I finish something.

When using pencils/ mechanical pencils, how do you keep your hand from smudging the picture?
Magic.

Would you recommend an art class or taking a anatomy class to get the body figure right? Or should I just learn just by practicing everyday?
BOTH! Look at photographs, buy books with photos DON’T look at drawings, paintings, 3D renderings, NOTHING photographs ONLY! Live is even better if you can get it.

Do you prefer Faber Castell Classics over Prismacolor? Why? Or have you never tried Prismacolor before?
Yeah I like Prisma but I don’t use them much anymore.

Does it make a difference in your drawing when you use mechanical or traditional pencils?
Yeah, mechanical pencils are small and make clean lines. traditional gets blunt and messy.

Do you use photoshop or any others digital tools,if yes which one
Sometimes. I use photoshop CS2-4, Jasc paintshop (which is a rip off version), a tablet my friend let me borrow.

Not really I like 11x14 bristol. I love painting on whatever canvases I can find, canvas and canvas board. Not really C:

No. My crap whorey characters are my crap whorey characters. Get your own.

Why dont you draw more (insert other storylines here)?
Slow artist is slooooooow and faaaaat and ever since I did that sweeney todd picture and it has over 9000 favs I will never do that again. Fav my original art not a stupid english project.

Why dont you draw dark-skinned characters?
Well because they end up looking like white people that went through a cooker and the skin colour looks like plum-vomit (best crayola crayon colour ever).

Out of the characters you made, who are your faves?
I love Setsu really. He/she/it/cactus is soooo cute and sad and adorable.

What is your favourite/least favourite colour(s)?
I am very specific with my colours as of late. Mars black, snow white (like blue-ish white with hints of soft pink), crimson red, parchment yellow, pumpkin orange, soft grass green and soft grey green, soft light grey blue, purple-blue. I detest any neon colours.
